  • Check out one of the many farmer’s markets in Atlanta and work as a family to create a meal from what you bought. Check out this guide to several of the markets in the area.

  • Head to the Home Depot Backyard and attend an Inspired Learning Event which include classes like Planting 101, How to Ride a Bike, Beginners Camping. If you can’t make it to the Backyard, each Home Depot offers kids’ DIY workshops or at-home project kits on the first Saturday of each month.

  • Atlanta has so many great museums and several offer free days.

  • Take a stroll on the Atlanta Beltline. Before you go, check out this interactive map of trails, parks, and art installations along the way. Make a scavenger hunt of the art on the Beltline (like Tiny Doors ATL)

  • Speaking of Tiny Doors ATL, on the third Saturday of each month, Tiny Doors ATL hosts an open studio where you can see how the art comes to life and take a peak at retired doors.
