Meet Grace
Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Grace Brown, AMFT
Grace is an associate marriage and family therapist. Grace helps teens build meaningful connections and navigate the complexities of their changing relationships. She brings a wealth of experience in working with teens and is known for her compassionate and empathetic approach.
Experience
Grace is a licensed associate marriage and family therapist. At the heart of her work is the belief that healing happens through relationships. As a therapist, she uses Attachment Theory to understand how early life experiences shape the ways people connect—with others and with themselves. Whether supporting an individual struggling with self-worth, a teen navigating life’s challenges, a couple facing relationship difficulties, or a family working through conflict, she strives to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
A Therapeutic Approach Rooted in Connection: Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) & Beyond
Grace’s primary approach is Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), which supports clients in identifying, processing, and reshaping their emotional responses. By working through difficult emotions in a safe and supportive space, her clients develop healthier communication patterns, deeper emotional connections, and greater self-awareness. For those who benefit from additional structure, she also integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to offer practical coping tools.
Who She Works With
Helping Teens, Parents, Couples, Families & Individuals Build Stronger Connections
Teens dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, or family stress. Adolescence can be a challenging time, and she provides a supportive space for teens to express their emotions, build confidence, and develop healthy coping strategies. Her goal is to help teens feel seen and supported as they grow and navigate relationships.
Parents & Couples seeking to strengthen relationships and deepen emotional connection. Recognizing the challenges and rewards of parenting, she helps parents foster meaningful relationships with their children and guides them toward positive change. She believes parents have the power to create secure and nurturing environments where children can thrive. For couples, she offers a space to rebuild trust, enhance communication, and foster emotional intimacy.
Individuals looking to heal from past wounds, navigate life transitions, or develop a stronger sense of self. Whether facing struggles with self-worth, grief, or relationship challenges, she supports individuals in reconnecting with their emotions, breaking unhelpful patterns, and cultivating a more fulfilling life.
Families navigating conflict, communication difficulties, or life transitions. Understanding that family relationships are central to emotional well-being, she helps families break unhealthy cycles, improve understanding, and build stronger bonds. Whether addressing past hurts or working to strengthen family dynamics, she provides guidance tailored to each family's unique needs.

A Commitment to Healing & Growth
I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where we work together to uncover patterns that no longer serve you and build new, healthier ways of relating. My goal is to help you move toward lasting change by deepening your understanding of yourself and your relationships. I recognize that accessing painful emotions and experiences is often a challenging journey. I am committed to creating a space where your story can be deeply seen and witnessed so you may release the constrained patterns that no longer serve your growth and healing.
Grace seeks to provide a safe space where you feel seen and heard.
“My role as a therapist is to act as a co-explorer in my client's journey towards positive change. I walk alongside my clients as we work towards placing their healing and growth in the driver's seat of their lives. It is important that I create a safe space where my clients feel heard, seen, and understood as they bravely face the emotions and patterns that lead to their liberation and growth."

Meet Kramer
Professional PLAYMATE
Though his educational background is a little thin, Kramer is a mini golden doodle who is hypoallergenic. He tags along with Dr. Jeremy in session to help you feel more comfortable in the therapy room. Even those who have some fear of dogs have ended up loving him. He enjoys sleeping, playing with his toys, and getting pets.

We work hard to help you, and we never forget about the importance of play.
Traditional therapy techniques aren’t often playful, causing us to be more rigid and guarded. We use play to create a safe space to open up in the therapy room by incorporating activities such as board games, card games, basketball, and role plays. Our office dog, Kramer, is always eager to play too.
We know that play builds rapport and trust with our clients, as well as gives opportunities to practice the strategies we talk about.

In addition to play, we use several evidence-based techniques in session to help children, teens, and families live fuller, happier lives:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
SPACE Treatment (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Parent coaching
Trauma-informed frameworks
